IT Portfolio & Program Management

Our foundation is process driven, proven, and audited which guarantees best-in-class deployment and implementation. Whether a single, specialized Project Manager is required or an entire Project Management Office (PMO) needs executed and managed, our team has the experience and resources to make it happen. Our Services team has managed projects ranging from enterprise software development to desktop phones, from data consolidations to FOIA and Paper Reduction Act projects.

Operational Resilience

1Vision offers expertise and solutions in every phase of the Operational Resilience lifecycle. From planning and implementation to evaluation and mitigation, 1Vision analysts provide risk-informed solutions to minimize the likelihood and impact of undesirable events on your business operations and information technology infrastructure. We recognize that no single solution will work for every organization – or even every threat facing a single organization.

Our subject matter experts ensure each solution accounts for the unique characteristics of your organization and your operating environment – developing lasting results to strengthen the overall risk posture and enable your organization to withstand a disruption and continue operations in an all-hazards environment.

Testing & Evaluation

1Vision deploys experienced systems engineers on-site to coordinate the implementation of enterprise network solutions. Following ITIL best practices, we evaluate the needs of the client, tailor a solution based upon the requirements, and rigorously test to ensure our solution is as fine-tuned as possible upon startup. We require all our engineers be trained and certified in major software development processes, specifically Agile and Rapid Application Development (RAD) while our Human Resources department ensures all deployed personnel’s certifications are up to date.

Our training specialists work in tandem with the end user and the engineers. They ensure that once our solutions are deployed, Government employees are able to successfully engage with the product and utilize it properly.

1Vision’s commitment to our client does not end upon deployment; rather, we follow a regular maintenance schedule agreed upon with the client. 1Vision specialists coordinate maintenance windows for bug fixes, software patches, and hardware and software upgrades (as they apply to the contract), as well as follow-up training as necessary. Our goal is to provide the greatest possible user experience with minimal user downtime.

Enterprise Management Framework

1Vision has architected and deployed EMF systems to implement a centralized framework to monitor VA’s complex IT systems and processes across multiple disciplines and increase accountability across the enterprise. We implement an automated, enterprise-wide view that automatically shows the status of Help Desk and Managed Data Repository (MDR) IT systems and performance data.

This logical, enterprise-wide view comprises tools, reports, dashboards, and analytics which allow end users to view real-time information about the health and performances of IT systems. Access to this kind of information helps agencies make strategic, operational, and investment decisions and better support its users.

1Vision has achieved multi-site migration and recovery for services through the use of VMware virtualization products and EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) solutions for over 300,000 users. In order to offer comprehensive solutions, we have many value-added reseller (VAR) product relationships including IBM, Computer Associates (CA), EMC, and Dell.

Cloud Computing Security & Compliance

Leveraging our institutional knowledge, client/vendor relationships, and subject matter expertise, 1Vision helps our customers adopt the right cloud solution for their business needs. We assist our clients in defining and implementing secure cloud architecture requirements across the enterprise, enabling the mission while safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and Information Technology systems.

We help clients ensure their cloud infrastructures comply with Federal requirements and standards through a standardized, repeatable process that is tailored to the specific organizational requirements.

Emergency Management

1Vision works with our clients to focus on those assets most important to the fulfillment of their missions - the people. Our approaches ensure readiness of client staff across all mission areas - prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery - through audit-defensible plans, tailored exercises, risk assessments, and training and awareness activities. We recognize that the key to success lies in knowledge-building and awareness versus strict compliance.

Our capabilities support this goal and facilitate client readiness, including the development and implementation of the processes, technologies, and infrastructure required for them to respond to events in an all-hazards environment.

Identity & Access Management

1Vision offers expertise and solutions to help clients comply with the HSPD-12 Directive, which requires the implementation of an enterprise-wide common identification credential. We also tailor our identity management solutions with the goal of ensuring appropriate role-based access and providing increased security program cost effectiveness. Specifically:

  • For Governance and Policy Support: We offer IAM support to assess the alignment of Department-level program policies with existing federal mandates and guidance related to identity and access management including providing ongoing Gap Analysis statements
  • For Integration and Implementation Support: We provide business analysis support to the full cycle of identity access activities inclusive of analysis and formulation of requirements, deliverables, application needs, and web resource tools.

Privacy

In accordance with government regulations, 1Vision provides a comprehensive suite of privacy capabilities to establish, support, and mature federal privacy and data loss prevention programs, including:

  • Engineering the design for assessing the baseline and gaps associated with implementation of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53, revision 4, Appendix J privacy control catalog;

1Vision Awarded Home Telehealth Contract from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
Thursday, January 04, 2018

1Vision has been selected as the only Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to be awarded a contract from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to deliver home telehealth solutions to U.S veterans.

Partnering with AMC Health to Provide Telehealth Care for Veterans to Improve Clinical Outcomes while Reducing Hospital Readmissions and Costs

Martinsburg, WV - January 04, 2018 — 1Vision LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of HMS TECHNOLOGIES, INC., announced that it has been selected as the only Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to be awarded a contract from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to deliver home telehealth solutions to U.S veterans. The contract includes one base year and four one-year option periods with a maximum value of $258,668,957.

1Vision chose AMC Health, a leading provider of virtual care and remote patient monitoring solutions to implement its home telehealth solution leveraging the robust clinical CareConsole® platform. AMC Health’s telehealth offerings will enable veterans to automatically transmit information including vital sign measurements such as weight, blood pressure, blood glucose levels as well as condition specific information to the CareConsole® platform using Bluetooth-enabled devices from the comfort of their own homes. CareConsole is powered by a sophisticated analytics engine that alerts a Veterans’ Care Coordinator to emerging health issues or concerning trends ensuring prioritized outreach before small clinical issues become serious problems. Using telehealth, Veterans will have the opportunity to bolster their independence, get convenient access to health care while addressing resource and financial obstacles.

“1Vision, a subsidiary of HMS TECHNOLOGIES, INC., was formed with the sole vision of better serving our nation’s veterans through a wider breadth of technologies,” said Bill Kirkpatrick, CEO of HMS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. and managing director of 1Vision, LLC. “As a service-disabled veteran myself, I firmly believe this contract is a vital step to make healthcare treatment for our nation's heroes more efficient and accessible. We are honored to be part of this contract and are pleased that the VA has awarded a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business this opportunity to help provide quality products and services to veterans.

The Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) Home Telehealth Program relies on telehealth platforms from commercial contractors classified by the VA as Medical Device Data Systems (MDDS). These systems are purchased by the VHA and used by veterans throughout the United States in their homes as a means of promoting self-management and increased access to care. VA-published studies show that MDDS systems help to improve care, reduce emergency department visits and promote higher levels of patient and clinician satisfaction.

AMC Health’s solutions (the telehealth platform for 1Vision) were developed “by clinicians for clinicians” and use processes, protocols and technologies culled from more than 10 million patients over 15 years of operation.

“We are honored that AMC Health has been selected to help empower Veterans to take a more active role managing their health and improving the quality of lives,” said Nesim Bildirici, CEO and president of AMC Health. “As the exclusive telehealth provider for 1Vision, we are committed to extending our expertise to help expand medical services to veterans through telehealth.”
